At Woodfield Physiotherapy we are committed to the health and well-being of our staff and patients at the same time as delivering exceptional care to our patients during these difficult times.  We are doing our part in reducing the spread of Covid-19 and will be seeing patients via video or telephone.  Our  telephone or virtual consultations across all therapies are working well, so thank you for embracing these changes.  More information regarding specific therapies is below.

Sue Walker our Podiatrist is contacting all patients and will determine if she should see you face-to-face.  If your problem is deemed essential for health or preventative of infection she is able to offer appointments in person, so please call us if you would like to discuss your foot issue.

Patients must not attend their appointment if they have been exposed to anyone with Covid-19 in the past 14 days.  If you are experiencing a new or persistent cough, feel unwell/ low energy, fever, sore throat, joint or muscle aches please remain at home and have a telephone consultation instead.

We are carefully monitoring the health and well-being of our staff and we’re taking all the extreme precautionary steps to prevent infection in response to this outbreak.  We are cleaning of surfaces and using hand-washing before and after every patient and maintaining safe distances when face-to-face consultations are offered.

In addition to these measures only one therapist is working at any one time.

On arrival at the clinic to minimise the numbers in the waiting room at any one time please park in front of reception, remain in your car and our reception staff or your therapist will indicate when it is safe to enter.

Please limit your time in the meeting area and remain at least 2 metres between you and anyone else in the clinic.

We will charge for our time spent during telephone or virtual consultations (via Skype, Zoom or Facetime) which will include all our usual questions including responses to particular movements to diagnose and assess the problem.  We will give you information regarding your condition, how to manage it and send over any prescribed exercises.  The cost for a 30 mins appt will be £30.  If you require less time our charge is £20 for 15 minutes.

Claire is up and running with virtual Pilates via the Zoom app, please contact her on for details.  There will be two classes on Thursdays.

Keeping ourselves healthy, especially our immune system is essential.  Digestive health and a good diet are directly linked to our immune system, so please get in touch with Rika, our nutritional therapist for a virtual consultation.  She is available on
