Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing on the present moment, tuning into what it happening in our minds and bodies. Evidence shows that mindfulness can help to improve health and well-being. It also helps people to learn more effectively, think more clearly, perform better and to feel calmer and less anxious.
Annabel Talbot has been practising mindfulness for 5 years and has trained as a mindfulness teacher with the centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice, Bangor University.
