Physio courses attended

This weekend Cordelia attended a course on the elbow, wrist and hand which was highly interesting, factual and practical.  The course included studies on biomechanics of the region, hands-on treatment techniques and updates on the latest research in elbow tendinopathy.

Josh will start a module on Imaging Recognition at University of Herts in February which will be extremely useful for interpreting scans, in particular MRI.

Mindfulness Taster session coming to Colmworth

Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing on the present moment, tuning into what it happening in our minds and bodies.  Evidence shows that mindfulness can help to improve health and well-being.  It also helps people to learn more effectively, think more clearly, perform better and to feel calmer and less anxious.

Annabel Talbot has been practising mindfulness for 5 years and has trained as a mindfulness teacher with the centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice, Bangor University.

Woodfield is offering two taster sessions-  Thursday 8th September 6.30-8pm and Thursday 15th September 6.30-8pm (must attend both sessions).  Please call us to register your place.
