Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focussing on the present moment, tuning into what is happening in our minds and our bodies. Evidence shows that mindfulness can help to improve health and wellbeing. It helps people to learn more effectively, think more clearly, perform better and to feel calmer and less anxious.
